Assistant Varsity Coach Adam Columbo
2004 AAA High School Assistant Coach of the Year

2003-2004 Coaches
Dave Crowell
(coachcrowell@nazarethwresting.com)
Coach Crowell is a Corry, PA native. He
continued his education and wrestling career at Lock Haven University where he
earned a degree in Health & Physical Education graduating in 1975.
He began his coaching career at Lock Haven University where he was an
assistant for one year (1975-76). Crowell
came to Easton and the Easton Area School District in late summer 1976 where he
accepted positions as physical education teacher, assistant football coach and
assistant wrestling coach under former head coach and PA Hall of Fame member Bob
Zarbatany. Zarbatany
left coaching and education for the business field at the end of the 1976-77
season. Crowell was hired as
Easton’s head coach in the fall of 1977 and held this position for seven
years. His teams at Easton compiled
a 105-13-1 record including two undefeated seasons, four district titles and two
state tournament titles. Three of
his wrestlers at Easton won a total of four state crowns.
After “retiring” from coaching, Crowell spent eight years away from
wrestling. In 1992, the head
coaching position opened at Wilson and he was hired to fill it… which he did
for the next eleven years. During
this time, his Wilson teams had a record of 170-45.
They also won two state tournaments, two state dual meet titles, 5
district tournaments, and 5 district dual meet titles. These two coaching stints
leave him with a career coaching record of
275-58-1.
Adam Colombo
Coach Colombo is a 1993 graduate of Nazareth High School, and
he will begin his tenth year of coaching at his alma mater. Adam has served as

District XI Champion and a State qualifier. Adam attended East
Stroudsburg University.
Shawn McEntire
Coach
McEntire is a 1996 graduate of Nazareth High School where, during his senior
year, he was a captain for the Blue Eagles. Shawn was a State qualifier, and
after graduation he attended Lock Haven University where he wrestled for 3
years. Shawn served as an assistant Junior High Wrestling coach at
Central Mountain for three seasons. Upon graduation from Lock Haven, he
began teaching at Tracy Elementary School and coaching the Blue Eagles.
